• Coordinate with commissioning teams for inspection and energisation.
• Attend coordination meetings and report progress to senior management.

Job description

PE Global Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Electrical Package Managers to join one of Europe's leading Data Centre construction contractors on a major hyperscale Data Centre development in Helsinki, Finland.

Our client is a well-established international contractor specialising in the delivery of large-scale, technically complex Data Centre projects across Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing project delivery team, with a strong pipeline of secured projects in Finland extending to at least 2033.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing electrical installation packages, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate electrical installation packages from initial planning through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Oversee electrical subcontractors, supervisors and site engineering teams to ensure successful package delivery.
• Coordinate the installation of major electrical systems, including MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, containment and associated infrastructure.
• Monitor programme progress, identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to maintain project milestones.
• Work closely with Electrical Construction Managers, Project Managers, engineering teams and other MEP disciplines.
• Ensure all electrical installations comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Review technical submittals, method statements, risk assessments and installation documentation.
• Manage procurement schedules, material deliveries and subcontractor resources.
• Attend coordination meetings, provide progress reports and communicate package performance to senior project management.
• Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure systems are ready for inspection, testing, energisation and final handover.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality across all electrical works.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma or recognised trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Required Skills

• Previous experience in an Electrical Package Manager, Electrical Project Engineer, Electrical Supervisor or similar construction delivery role.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations, systems and construction methodologies.
• Experience delivering large-scale electrical packages on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Commercial or Mission Critical projects.
• Proven ability to manage electrical subcontractors, coordinate site activities and deliver against demanding construction programmes.
• Good knowledge of electrical drawings, specifications, installation sequencing and commissioning requirements.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
• Willingness to work in Helsinki on a rotational basis.
• Previous Data Centre experience is highly advantageous; however, candidates with strong electrical delivery experience on other large-scale technical construction projects will also be considered.
