Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Electrical Application Engineer to join the Power Quality team in Tampere, Finland. You will support engineering execution of customer orders, translating requirements into clear deliverables for transmission, renewable energy projects and internal stakeholders.

The role involves coordination with internal teams and external suppliers, using tools like PowerFactory/DIgSILENT and CAD software. English proficiency is required; Finnish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Interest in high‑voltage or medium‑voltage applications
• Experience with project engineering or substations
• Fluent English; Finnish is an advantage but not required

Responsibilities

• Support the technical execution of awarded projects from order intake through to delivery
• Prepare, review and coordinate technical drawings and related engineering outputs
• Collaborate with internal teams, supply chain, project stakeholders and external vendors
• Contribute to technical reviews and clarification activities throughout the project lifecycle
