Job summary

The University of Helsinki is seeking a Project Manager to join the Innovation Unit within University Services. The role is fixed-term until 31 October 2028 and centers on leading the university’s part of the HEVi DualBoost initiative in the capital region.

You will develop externally funded projects, build consortia, manage finances, and strengthen partnerships with researchers and external actors, supporting dual-use innovation and ecosystem development.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Project Manager for the University of Helsinki’s part of the HEVi DualBoost project.
• Develop projects funded through external sources (e.g. NATO, European Defence Fund, Business Finland) focusing on dual-use innovation and ecosystem development.
• Build and coordinate consortia and lead collaborative project development.
• Report on and monitor the finances of the University of Helsinki’s share of the project.
• Build stakeholder relationships and participate in key dual-use networks.
• Contribute to successful outcomes via new partnerships and externally funded collaborative projects.
