Qualifications

• MSc degree (or degree qualifying for doctoral studies).
• Excellent skills in spoken, read and written English.
• Candidates must be eligible for the Doctoral Programme and start as Project Researcher before advancing to Doctoral Researcher.

Responsibilities

• Generate loss-of-function hiPSC-derived 2D and 3D models using CRISPR-based approaches and bioengineering.
• Create knock-in hiPSC lines and hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes for proximity proteomics (BioID) and ChIP-seq experiments.
• Characterize cardiomyocytes from modified lines using gene expression analyses and imaging.
• Develop in vitro hiPSC-CM models relevant to target function and test inhibitors.
• Perform protein biochemistry and molecular biology to elucidate mechanisms; collaborate with physiologists.
• Work onsite in an international environment and present results at lab meetings and conferences.
