Job summary

Safegrid Oy, a G&W Electric Company, seeks a seasoned Software & Data Platform leader to own the cloud stack. You will shape the software organization across Data Eng, Data Science, Backend, UI/UX, and Systems Eng, aligning product priorities with quarterly plans and budgets.

You will drive an organization-wide AI capability roadmap, ensuring secure, scalable cloud services while coordinating distributed teams in Finland and the US. A technical degree and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

Senior software leader with experience running multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven track record in delivery governance, budgeting, and capacity planning.
Strong AI strategy experience and ability to drive adoption across engineering.
Experience securing cloud services and managing cybersecurity in industrial contexts.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a multidisciplinary software organization across Data Eng, Data Science, Backend, UI/UX, and Systems Eng.
Translate product priorities into quarterly plans with staffing and delivery commitments.
Own the SD budget, capacity planning, and resource allocation for software development.
Drive an AI capability roadmap and embed AI-assisted tools across teams.
Collaborate with global teams in Finland and the US to align delivery and roadmap.
