Job summary

TikTok Technology Finland Oy in Kouvola seeks a skilled Datacenter Facilities Engineer to manage the CoLocation Data Center infrastructure, oversee testing, handover, and routine operations in collaboration with the DCS team.

You will handle end-to-end change management for high-risk maintenance, drive uptime, and coordinate with vendors to ensure reliable facility delivery. Strong 5+ years experience and power/cooling expertise are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of datacenter facility operations experience.
• Proven experience implementing facility power redundancy designs (2N, N+1) in production environments.
• Deep understanding of cooling redundancy strategies (N+1, N+2) for uninterrupted operations.
• Hands-on experience maintaining critical datacenter mechanical/electrical systems: generators, chillers, UPS, and sub-distribution infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills with meticulous attention to detail for facility documentation and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee CoLocation Data Center infrastructure projects from testing to takeover.
• Operate and optimize CoLocation Data Center infrastructure for stability.
• Own end-to-end change management for high-risk datacenter maintenance activities.
• Monitor data center operation moderation, event reporting, and fault tracking to enhance service capabilities.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth facility delivery.
• Conduct regular audits of providers' maintenance programs and collaborate to improve upkeep.
• Support DC Operations as SME to understand design limits and risks.
• Supervise data hall fit-outs and end-to-end IT/power/cooling coordination.
• Be available outside normal hours to respond to critical incidents.
