Job summary

UPM Adhesive Materials is seeking a Data & Platform Specialist to help shape the target-state data platform and governance processes. The role combines hands-on data work with cross-functional leadership across commercial and technical teams.

You will work with Snowflake, DBT, and Microsoft Fabric, while collaborating with Collibra and Ellie for governance. The position is based in Helsinki or Tampere, Finland, with a fixed-term development track.

Qualifications

• Strong data and platform engineering background.
• Solid foundation in data modeling and governance.
• Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, DBT).
• Familiar with Collibra, Ellie for governance and metadata.
• Interest in AI-driven process reinvention (Foundry, Copilot Studio).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to data architecture and target-state data platform work.
• Lead data teams toward objectives and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Audit MyAccess and Power BI workspaces and reports; deliver hands-on BI outputs.
• Run delivery sprints with DevOps/Scrum, cadence planning.
• Own information modelling across systems and master data relationships.
• Coordinate with commercial stakeholders and lead Data Community meetings.

Support the organization in developing the target-state data platform and the processes around itRun hands-on data governance execution, and set up and embed governance principles and processes across domains (ideally in Collibra)Lead data teams toward defined objectives and support data initiatives across the organization.
