Job summary

Fiskars Group seeks a Data & GenAI Engineer to translate business architecture into data architecture and help build internal GenAI capabilities, including LLM-powered agents and tooling that leverage Fiskars data.

You will combine core data engineering (pipelines, modelling, warehousing) with GenAI application development and work with stakeholders across the organization to deliver AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience with ETL systems, data modelling or analytics software.
• Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with GenAI/LLM application development (agents, tool-calling, MCP, RAG) and/or AutoML tools would be an advantage.
• Familiarity with different source systems and data source formats.
• Can-do spirit and strong problem-solving skills, with a customer-service attitude.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluent English skills.

Responsibilities

• Data modelling, data warehousing, databases and ETL/ELT.
• Designing and building LLM-based agents and tools that connect to Fiskars data, including MCP, RAG patterns.
• Implementing AutoML solutions as required by solution design.
• Prototyping and iterating on internal AI use cases to turn business needs into AI-assisted tools.
• Understanding the big picture and breaking complex ideas into logical steps with a usable blueprint.
• Managing data architecture by upholding guidelines.
• Sharing knowledge on data architecture and AI tooling.
