Job summary

F-Secure is seeking Senior Data Engineers to own a broad slice of the Enterprise Data Platform in Helsinki. You will model data in Data Vault 2.0, build inbound/outbound APIs, and shape Power BI semantic models used across reporting, analytics and AI agents.

The role involves migration work from Snowflake to Databricks and Azure to AWS, with AI-native development becoming the default workflow. You will collaborate with Finance, Sales and Customer Service stakeholders, ensure secure data

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years' hands-on data engineering/analytics experience in cloud platforms.
Strong Data Vault 2.0 and star schema modelling skills.
Excellent SQL performance-oriented skills.
Experience designing APIs & integrations with REST/OAuth and Power BI semantic models.
Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Design and build the Data Vault 2.0 layer (hubs, links, satellites, keys, loading) and contribute to the publish layer.
Design, implement and secure inbound/outbound APIs and ingestion from source systems into the data lake.
Develop semantic views and curated data products powering Power BI reporting and AI agents.
Monitor data quality and reconcile against sources; troubleshoot data issues.
Manage access/grants for data products following least-privilege principles.
Utilize AI coding agents as part of development workflow with critical review.
