Job summary

Crosskey is growing and seeking a Data Engineer to join our small, close-knit data team. You will build and maintain data pipelines that power our analytics and data export solutions, and help establish a data platform with real-time capabilities. You’ll collaborate with developers, architects, and teams across Åland, Finland, and Sweden.

You are analytical, deadline-driven, and excited about technology. We value hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, cloud data platforms, and modern data tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience with data modeling and building data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or other programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design.
• Experience working in cloud environments (Azure or AWS).
• Knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD.
• A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; a Master's is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines powering analytics and data exports.
• Support the establishment of a data platform with real-time capabilities.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross-site teams across Åland, Finland and Sweden.
