Job summary

Global Commissioning Limited is seeking a Commissioning Manager to oversee safe, timely and efficient design, installation and commissioning of critical IT and electrical systems in data centres. You will direct Project Managers, Supervisors and sub-contractors across on-site and off-site activities.

The role requires strong leadership, planning and communication skills, with responsibility from design through to handover, including development of commissioning plans, checklists and reports for

Qualifications

• Prince 2 or equivalent – Desirable
• Completion of trade apprenticeship or qualifications – Essential
• CSCS / Safe Pass / ECS / SMSTS holder – Essential
• HNC – Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services - Essential
• BEng (Hons) in an engineering discipline or equivalent – Desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, installation and commissioning of critical systems in data centre environments.
• Lead project teams including Project Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Draft and implement commissioning plans, test scripts and reports across phases.
• Coordinate training data collection and handover documentation.
