Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Project Safety Manager for a data center project. This salaried role leads safety compliance, collaborates with management and field supervision, and ensures work is performed safely at night (3:00pm–1:00am).

The candidate will conduct site inspections, manage safety personnel, and develop hazard analyses and training to minimize risks on high-stakes construction sites.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fall protections systems and electrical safety.
• Experience meeting essential functions and physical requirements with/without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in incident prevention, including inspecting the job site and equipment.
• Serve as on-site Competent Person performing regular safety inspections.
• Oversee safety professionals and guide site supervision on safety practices.
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses for major work processes and hazardous conditions.
• Conduct safety education activities and Toolbox Talks for site teams.
