Job summary

Satatuote, a contract supplier of sustainable plastic packaging, is seeking a Customer Solutions & Sustainability Manager to lead the sustainability program and help customers achieve their objectives with practical, commercially viable solutions.

Based in Rauma, Finland, you will collaborate with sales, product development, quality, procurement and production to translate sustainability into customer value and drive circular economy initiatives across international accounts.

Qualifications

Satatuote is a contract supplier and service provider for regulated industries, specializing in customer-centric and sustainable plastic packaging solutions. Our customers include leading pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, food industry operators and global technology companies. We are a growing team with over 90 personnel, and a 2025 company turnover of 20 Meur.

With decades of experience serving demanding industrial sectors, we help our customers improve sustainability, compliance and operational performance through innovative packaging and circular economy solutions. Our headquarters and production facilities are located in Rauma, Finland and Kralovice, Czech Republic, supported by sales and logistics operations across Europe.

We are now looking for a

Customer Solutions & Sustainability Manager

to lead the next phase of our sustainability journey and strengthen our position as a trusted sustainability partner for our customers.

Your Mission

This role combines sustainability expertise, customer engagement and business development. You will be responsible for further developing Satatuote's sustainability program while helping our customers achieve their own sustainability objectives through practical and commercially viable solutions. Rather than focusing on compliance alone, your role is to identify opportunities, influence stakeholders and translate sustainability into tangible customer value. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and colleagues across sales, product development, quality, procurement and production.

The role will be based on Rauma, Finland.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Collaboration and Sustainability Advisory

• Build trusted relationships with customer sustainability, procurement and operational teams
• Act as Satatuote's sustainability expert in customer discussions
• Understand customer challenges and develop tailored sustainability solutions
• Identify opportunities to expand circular economy cooperation with existing and new customers

Sustainability Program Development

• Lead and further develop Satatuote's sustainability program
• Embed sustainability into company strategy, processes and day-to-day operations
• Monitor relevant legislation, market developments and industry trends
• Support sustainability reporting and target setting

Circular Economy and Material Solutions

• Drive initiatives related to material efficiency, recycling and closed-loop solutions
• Develop scalable customer sustainability processes and service models
• Collaborate with suppliers and procurement on sustainable material alternatives
• Evaluate value-chain impacts and identify improvement opportunities
• Lead customer-focused sustainability and development projects
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across the organization
• Ensure effective implementation and follow-through of agreed actions
