Job summary

EG seeks a Creative Designer to join its Brand & Marketing team in Helsinki on a fixed-term parental leave cover. You will own end-to-end social media and product marketing content, from idea to publish, collaborating with freelancers and internal teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on production over strategy, with a portfolio showing published outputs and a passion for beauty and wellness brands. Hybrid work and real ownership from day one are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong creative writer and designer capabilities.
• Excellent visual composition with layouts in Figma/Canva/Adobe.
• Ability to ideate, script, shoot and edit short-form video content.
• Can shoot and edit video; experience with social media formats.

Bring fresh energy to social, video, and product marketing content, and help shape how our brand shows up online while covering a colleague's parental leave.

Do you love turning ideas into scroll-stopping social content and video, and getting high-quality creative work out the door fast? Are you a hands-on maker who wants real ownership of a brand's content - not just a seat at the strategy table?

Then you might be our new Creative Designer!

As part of the department
You’ll join our small, dynamic Brand & Marketing team, working closely with freelance creatives and collaborating regularly with sales, customer service, and product design. This role covers a colleague's parental leave, and it's not a like-for-like replacement: our outgoing designer has a strong graphic design background, but for this period we want to shift the role's center of gravity toward social media, video, and product marketing content. We see it as a chance to bring in a skillset the team doesn't currently have - and to build capability we can keep leaning on beyond this contract.

This role is for you if you love generating ideas, developing concepts, writing, designing beautiful posts and ad assets, editing social and ad video, and scripting shoots - and you get things done efficiently. You're a maker, not primarily a strategist: if your energy is in high-level strategy work rather than production, this probably isn't the right fit.

What you'll be doing

• Produce new content and marketing assets based on existing material
• Visualize product features and functionality - both static and dynamic - for the website, social posts, and newsletters (e.g. GIFs, lightweight animated videos)
• Ideate, create, and publish Instagram content
• Develop and produce new product marketing concepts and assets
• Create and edit still images, graphics, videos, and light animations
• Ideate and script social and marketing videos
• Edit new videos and alternative cuts from existing footage and material
• Produce localized versions of existing print and video materials
• Identify and reach out to relevant influencers and brand-ambassador entrepreneurs
• Visit customer locations for shoots together with a freelancer

Your background

Must-have

• You're a strong creative writer and designer
• You have a good eye for visual composition and can create beautiful layouts using Figma, Canva, and Adobe tools
• You can ideate and script short-form video that works - and you understand what makes a video hook people in the first few seconds
• You can shoot and, in particular, edit video
• You have a feel for what actually performs on social media
• You're comfortable with AI tools and genuinely want to keep learning
• You work well with people - internally and with external partners
• You're genuinely passionate about the beauty and wellness space
• You understand the mindset of a small business owner
• Above all, you make things happen and get high-quality work live
• You have relevant experience and a track record in comparable work, with a portfolio that shows real, published output (not just training or theory)
