Job summary

Verda in Helsinki is building a European AI cloud, seeking a CPU Solutions Specialist to own CPU specifications and vendor interactions across AMD, ARM, and Intel. You will gather internal requirements, translate them into clear specs, and enable technical conversations with engineers, vendors, and stakeholders.

This role offers direct influence on hardware decisions in a fast-growing AI infra company. Based in Finland, you’ll collaborate with the Hardware Solutions Architect and travel

Qualifications

• Hands-on CPU knowledge with emphasis on AMD.
• Experience gathering requirements and managing stakeholders.
• Ability to document technical decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Track the CPU landscape for 12–18 months ahead and identify relevant workloads.
• Gather and consolidate CPU requirements across internal teams (infra, platform, cloud, storage).
• Translate internal needs into clear CPU specifications for vendor discussions.
• Hold credible CPU conversations across engineers, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Independently handle technical discussions with CPU manufacturers or support your manager.
• Document the reasoning behind recommendations so the process is repeatable.
