Job summary

PwC Finland is seeking a proactive Corporate Governance Specialist to strengthen our partner affairs and governance operations in Helsinki. You will support senior executives, the Board, and committees, ensuring effective governance practices and smooth execution of partner matters.

As a liaison between management, the Chair of the Board, General Counsel, and People leadership, you will prepare, execute, and follow up on board meetings and manage partner-related processes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an executive or management assistant with exposure to corporate governance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication in English and Finnish; Swedish a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Helsinki.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and coordinating Board of Directors, Partner Committee, Nomination Committee, partner and shareholder meetings
  • Managing partner affairs processes, including contracts, shareholder registry maintenance, network quality and reporting, and share transfers
  • Developing and maintaining corporate governance and compliance functions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Leading and coordinating projects and processes, ensuring timely implementation and accurate documentation as part of the company’s quality system
  • Handling sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and integrity

Job description

We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented Corporate Governance Specialist to strengthen our partner affairs and corporate governance operations. In this versatile role, you will support senior executives, the Board of Directors, and various committees, ensuring effective governance practices and smooth execution of partner matters.

What will you do?

As a key liaison between management, the Chair of the Board, General Counsel, and People leadership, you will be responsible for preparing, executing, and following up on board and committee meetings as well as managing partner-related processes.

Your main responsibilities include:

What do we expect from you?
  • Proven experience as an executive or management assistant combined with exposure to corporate governance
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work proactively and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Finnish; Swedish skills are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating responsibility and a customer-oriented mindset
  • High level of discretion, reliability, and strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment
  • Commitment to working regularly on-site at our Helsinki office to ensure close collaboration and effective team communication
