Job summary

wpd windmanager Suomi Oy is seeking a Controller to join our team in Finland. You will perform plausibility checks on local accounting and control ongoing business operations, including variance analyses and liquidity and budget planning.

You will prepare reporting to banks and investors, review tax returns, and collaborate daily with Accounting, Financing, Technical and Key Account Management teams. Proficiency in Finnish and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Completed business or finance studies or a comparable qualification.
• Good knowledge of accounting according to Finnish GAAP.
• Very good knowledge of English and Finnish, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and be solution-oriented.
• Strong numerical and analytical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plausibility check of local accounting.
• Controlling of ongoing business operations with target/actual comparison and deviation analyses.
• Liquidity planning, distribution planning and budget planning.
• Profitability analyses and ad hoc requests.
• Preparation of reporting to banks and investors.
• Reviewing tax returns.
• Daily cross-departmental cooperation with Accounting, Financing, Technical and Key Account Management.

Your profile

• Successfully completed business or finance studies or a comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of accounting according to Finnish GAAP
• Very good knowledge of English and Finnish, both written and spoken
• Ideally professional experience as controller
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office, especially MS Excel
• Independent, solution-oriented and structured working style
• High affinity for numbers as well as analytical thinking skills
• Open-minded for personal development
• Good team player and professional in all communications
• Proactive, willing to work flexible hours and able to handle pressure
