Job summary

Parapex Talent seeks a seasoned Connectivity and ICT Infrastructure Lead for Helsinki-based data centre projects. You will drive connectivity design from feasibility to commissioning, coordinating with telecom carriers, service providers, and ICT vendors to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires deep knowledge of network architecture, fibre connectivity, and the ability to translate requirements into procurement and deployment strategies within the full project lifecycle.

Job description

Our client is a data centre operator establishing new facilities in Finland. This permanent, client side role leads connectivity and information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility assessment through to commissioning. Based in Helsinki, the successful candidate will own strategic decisions on connectivity, fibre, and network design whilst managing relationships with telecom carriers, network service providers, and ICT vendors. Relocation support and visa sponsorship are available for the right candidate.

In this role you will

• Lead connectivity and ICT infrastructure from feasibility through deployment and commissioning on new data centre builds
• Assess site viability, develop network designs, and procure and manage telecom and ICT vendors

Preferred Requirements

• Demonstrated experience delivering connectivity, fibre, ICT, or network infrastructure on data centre projects
• Proven track record across the full project lifecycle: feasibility, design, procurement, deployment, and commissioning
• Extensive experience managing telecom carriers, network service providers, and ICT vendors in a project context
• Strong technical knowledge of data centre connectivity and network architecture
• Ability to assess technical feasibility and translate requirements into procurement and deployment strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in telecommunications, network engineering, or a related discipline
• Experience in the Finnish data centre market or Northern European infrastructure projects
• Professional certifications in network design or telecommunications management
