Job summary

iconicchain Oy in Helsinki is seeking a Compliance Specialist to run our information security management system, manage related activities and documentation, and ensure timely preparation of customer and internal documentation.

You will engage in compliance materials, represent the company during customer audits, respond to information requests about cybersecurity, compliance, and data retention, and help develop and improve information security processes, practices, and controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in information technology, information security, software development or compliance.
• Knowledge of ISO Standards, especially ISO 27001.
• Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., finance).
• Experience in software development or IT services fields.
• Ability to generate technical documentation for internal, customer and regulator audiences in English.

Responsibilities

• Run our information security management system and manage related activities and documentation.
• Represent the company during customer audits and respond to information requests on cybersecurity, compliance and data retention.
• Participate in developing and improving information security processes, practices and controls.
• Optionally contribute to IT infrastructure or software development based on interest and skills.

Your Role

As a Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in running our company's information security management system, managing the related activities and documentation, and ensuring the timely preparation of related documentation for customer and internal use.

You will help manage compliance-related materials, represent the company during customer audits, and respond to information requests regarding cybersecurity, compliance, and data retention.

You will participate in the development and improvement of our information security related processes, practices, and controls.

Optionally, depending on your skillset and interests, you can also participate in either IT infrastructure or software development within the company.

What We’re Looking For

• Working with compliance in highly regulated environment (eg., Finance)
• Experience working in software development or IT services fields.
• You have experienced in technical documentation - you are able to generate texts for different type of audiences (internal, customer, regulator) in English

It is nice-to-have:

• Technical expertise aligned with our technical stack (Linux, Kubernetes, and Python).
• Knowledge about encryption technologies
• Knowledge about PKI infrastructure
• Experience with compliance in cloud environments
• Practical experience implementing or designing ISO 27001 compliant ISMS
• Experience with other relevant standards or compliance frameworks such as SOC2, NIS, etc.
