Job summary

Sanoma Learning is seeking a Compliance Program Manager to join our Compliance team as a temporary parental leave replacement. The role is based at our Helsinki headquarters with a hybrid work model, combining 3 days in the office with 2 days remote.

You will coordinate and continuously improve Sanoma's Compliance Management Program, ensuring policies, controls and governance processes are practical, scalable and embedded into daily business operations across technology, privacy and AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in law, business or related field.
• Interest and practical experience in using AI, automation and digital tools to improve ways of working.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience in program, project or process management within compliance, privacy, risk, governance or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual priorities, roadmaps and governance cycles of Sanoma's Compliance Program.
• Maintain and improve program templates, documentation, intranet resources and governance forums.
• Coordinate policy reviews with policy owners and SMEs across the organisation.
• Develop practical guidance, communications and training materials for policy understanding in daily work.
• Use AI agents and digital solutions to improve policy accessibility and knowledge management.
• Transform policy, compliance and training content into engaging formats.
• Support compliance and privacy reporting, dashboards and management reporting.
• Contribute to governance tools, workflows and technology solutions including the compliance and privacy technology roadmap.

About The Role

The position is located at our headquarters in Helsinki and offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of compliance, technology, privacy, AI and organisational change in one of Europe's leading learning and media companies.

As Compliance Program Manager, you will help coordinate and continuously improve Sanoma's Compliance Management Program, ensuring that policies, controls, governance processes and technology solutions are practical, scalable and embedded into everyday business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual priorities, roadmaps and governance cycles of Sanoma's Compliance Program
• Maintain and continuously improve program templates, documentation, intranet resources and governance forums
• Coordinate policy reviews with policy owners and subject matter experts across the organisation
• Develop practical guidance, communications and training materials that help employees understand what policies mean in their day-to-day work
• Use AI agents and other digital solutions to improve policy accessibility, employee self-service and knowledge management
• Explore new ways of transforming policy, compliance and training content into engaging, audience-specific formats
• Support compliance and privacy reporting, dashboards, metrics and management reporting
• Contribute to the development of governance tools, workflows and technology solutions, including the Compliance and Privacy technology roadmap

Formal Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in law, business or other relevant field
• 3-5 years of experience in program, project or process management within compliance, privacy, risk, governance or a related field
• Interest and practical experience in using AI, automation and digital tools to improve ways of working
• Experience working with OneTrust or a comparable privacy program management platform is considered an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English
