Job summary

Valmet in Finland seeks a Lead Cloud Architecture & Governance to define the enterprise cloud vision and oversee architecture choices across Azure and AWS, driving modernization across global operations.

You will lead Valmet's Cloud Center of Excellence, guide transformations, ensure security, governance, and FinOps practices, and partner with security, infrastructure, and business teams to maximize business value.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in cloud architecture and governance across Azure and AWS.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide cloud transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive architecture decisions.
• Strong knowledge of security, compliance, and FinOps.
• Experience leading cross-functional architecture or cloud engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise cloud vision and roadmaps across Azure and AWS.
• Lead Valmet's Cloud Center of Excellence and governance programs.
• Govern partnerships and ensure architectural compliance and security.
• Establish cloud financial governance to maximize value and cost-efficiency.
