Job summary

Wärtsilä Corporation is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to strengthen the security of our cloud platforms and development pipelines in Helsinki. The role offers a hybrid work model with on-site presence required weekly in our Helsinki office.

You will collaborate with security and development teams, applying CIS benchmarks and cloud security best practices across AWS, Azure and GCP, while enhancing our CNAPP tooling and Cloud SOC capabilities.

Qualifications

• Development experience and ability to write simple software (e.g., Python).
• Experience with CI/CD practices, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code.
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn.
• Experience in public cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as Cyber Security expert on cloud security matters.
• Creation, deployment, and maintenance of preventive controls for Wärtsilä's public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Help on DevSecOps pipelines, adding necessary functions to development side (Static Code Analysis, Container Scanning etc.).
• Verify that infrastructure configurations are complying to Wärtsilä policies (CIS benchmarks, network defense etc.).
• Use CNAPP tools to find alerts and vulnerabilities on existing resources.
• Cloud platform logging and monitoring development to build and develop our Cloud SOC.
