Job summary

Wärtsilä Corporation is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to join our Cloud & Application Security Practice in Helsinki with a hybrid work model. The role focuses on strengthening the security of Wärtsilä’s cloud platforms and supporting cloud-native development.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Development experience (Python or similar)
• Familiar with CI/CD, Kubernetes and IaC
• Knowledge of infrastructure configurations and security controls
• Exposure to CNAPP tools and cloud logging/monitoring

Responsibilities

• Act as Cyber Security expert on cloud security matters, guiding projects
• Create, deploy and maintain preventive controls for cloud platforms
• Contribute to DevSecOps pipelines with security features
• Verify configurations against Wärtsilä policies (CIS benchmarks)
• Use CNAPP tools to detect alerts and vulnerabilities
• Develop cloud logging and monitoring for Cloud SOC
