Job summary

Casambi in Espoo, Finland, is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join the Cloud Gateway team to shape the gateway platform that connects devices to cloud services, enables secure remote management, and supports large-scale deployments.

The role spans edge devices to cloud services and includes collaboration with hardware, cloud, backend and product teams, using AI tools to boost productivity and software quality, and contributing across multiple products as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and ownership mindset.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and business domains.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for cloud-connected gateway products.
• Work across edge devices, operating systems, cloud services, backend systems, and operational tooling.
• Contribute to architecture, security, reliability, and maintainability of gateway solutions.
• Develop and improve remote device management, connectivity, and OTA software updates.
