Job summary

Medcan Health Management Inc. in Markham is seeking an Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or Registered Kinesiologist (R. Kin) to join our high‑performance clinical team.

You will conduct sub‑maximal VO2 tests using the Bruce Protocol and Resting ECGs, delivering accurate reports and client‑focused care. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week with Saturday flexibility. Ideal candidates have healthcare experience, strong communication, and appropriate certifications, with opportunities to coordinate

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CSEP or related) or Registered Kinesiologist (R. Kin) designation.
• Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology or Health Sciences, Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion is an asset.
• Prior experience conducting graded exercise testing.
• 2+ years healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Sub-Maximal VO2 tests using the Bruce Protocol.
• Proficiency with treadmill or cycle ergometer.
• Administer Resting ECG Tests.
• Measure pre and post exercise blood pressures.
• Update results to generate patient reports.
• Provide clients recommendations and corrective exercises.
• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure exceptional service.
