Job summary

GoodLife Fitness in Tampere, Finland, is seeking a Performance Coach to deliver high-quality, safe and engaging Performance classes for members across REGYMEN, HYROX, Craft Boxing Co., PEAK and related programs, fostering a positive, inclusive and motivating environment.

• Current canfitpro Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Performance programs (REGYMEN, HYROX, Craft Boxing Co., PEAK, Other Performance Programming) to provide a safe member experience.
• Promote and support classes/programs to encourage member engagement in Performance programming.
• Follow all class operating procedures.
• Review workout plans and scripts prior to class.
• Set up equipment and maintain Performance Studio/Areas cleanliness.
• Complete subbing requests and fulfill procedures.
• Record time off and log hours in Time and Attendance.
• Stay informed by reading communications and attending coach meetings when possible.
• Complete Learning Zone modules as required.

Who is a Performance Coach?
Performance programming is one of the main pillars of GoodLife’s amenities and is a key driver for Member acquisition and retention through an elevated offering. The Performance Coach is responsible for providing a high quality, engaging and motivating experience, that includes safe, inclusive and enjoyable instruction and leadership for participants in all Performance classes and Performance retention strategies.

What will you be doing?

Class Delivery:

• Ensures proper Performance Program (REGYMEN, HYROX, Craft Boxing Co., PEAK, Other Performance Programing) delivery is followed to provide an exceptional and safe Member experience
• Promotes/supports own classes/programs, as well as other classes/programs to encourage Member engagement in Performance programming
• Follows all class operating procedures

Class Preparation:

• Reviews workout plans & scripting prior to class
• Sets up equipment for workouts and maintaining Performance Studio/Areas cleanliness

Administration:

• Completes subbing request and fulfillment procedures
• Records time off and logs appropriate hours in Time and Attendance
• Stays up-to-date and informed by reading communications from the Group Experience Department, General Manager, Performance Head Coach, Editor, etc., and by attending Coach Meetings when possible
• Completes Learning Zone modules as required
