Job summary

Turku University of Applied Sciences seeks a Research Group Lead to steer and develop the new Emergency Care and Comprehensive Security Research Group. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on research development and impact planning within the Faculty of Health and Well-being.

The successful candidate will act as Chief Advisor and Senior Researcher, lead RDI activities, build national and international networks, and guide the start-up phase toward a sustainable, results-driven

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership experience in research, development and innovation (RDI).
• Ability to build national and international networks and to secure funding.
• Strong collaboration and project management skills.
• Excellent English language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Emergency Care and Comprehensive Security Research Group.
• Plan, implement, evaluate and strengthen impact of RDI activities.
• Establish operations and strategic directions for the start-up phase.
• Represent the group in national and international forums.
