Mehiläinen Kalajoki is recruiting caregivers, registered nurses, or final-year students to join our disability services team to provide home-based care to a single client in their own home. The role includes nursing duties, medication administration, monitoring and guidance with a rehabilitative approach, and collaboration with the client and family.
The work operates in a three-shift system with flexibility, and candidates will receive thorough orientation.
Mehiläinen is recruiting in Kalajoki for caregivers, registered nurses, or final-year students to join our disability services team to provide home-based care to a single client in their own home. The role involves traditional nursing duties, medication administration, monitoring and guidance, with a rehabilitative approach and collaboration with the client and family. The work is on a three-shift system with flexibility to influence shifts. It is suitable for students as well. The customer site will receive thorough orientation, and there is opportunity to expand and deepen skills. The team includes colleagues, a shift supervisor, and a team lead named Joanna who will support you.
Requirements include a social and health care field qualification or studies in the field, with point requirements for student applicants (120 completed credits for practical nurses; 100/140 for nursing students; for practical nurses, completion of certain nursing and care-related topics). Proficiency in Finnish is required. LOVE licenses are valued and can be arranged through us if needed.
Salary depends on education and experience, under the private social services sector collective agreement: for practical nurses, G22 scale: 2460.27-2785.40 €/month and 15.09-17.09 €/hour (+9% holiday pay); for nurses, G24 scale: 2723.92-2990.35 €/month and 16.71-18.35 €/hour (+9% holiday pay).
