Job summary

Jobtailor in Helsinki is seeking a senior avionics systems engineer to define the overall avionics architecture for satellite platforms, and to maintain models and diagrams throughout the project lifecycle.

You will design grounding and bonding architectures, develop electrical circuit diagrams and interfaces, participate in subsystem interfaces, manage component supply chains, and communicate with internal teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in avionics systems engineering within the GEO space industry.
• Experience across the full lifecycle of avionics subsystems.
• High-level system design of avionics subsystems.
• Ability to analyse data, derive conclusions, and manage design documentation.
• Ability to review and approve design changes.
• Comfortable working with external vendors and consortium partners.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
