Job summary

ReOrbit, Helsinki-based space-tech startup, seeks Head of Avionics and Power Systems to lead a multidisciplinary team designing, integrating, and testing advanced satellite avionics and power systems for LEO/GEO missions.

You will balance performance, reliability, and schedule, drive hardware and firmware development, ensure compliance with aerospace standards, and guide verification campaigns across multiple flight programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in satellite avionics and power systems.
• 10+ years in space industry with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead EPS & avionics architectures for mission profiles.
• Direct a team of hardware and firmware engineers across phases from PDR to launch.
• Oversee verifications including HIL/FlatSat and environmental testing.
