Job summary

Voimatel Oy is seeking a Network Designer for Raumalle to plan and implement data networks for customers within various contracts. You will work in the core network team, operating autonomously with support when needed, focusing on safety, invoicing, and documentation.

The role requires relevant AMK studies or equivalent experience, knowledge of telecom networks, strong organizational skills, initiative, and fluency in Finnish. Willingness to travel and a valid driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Relevant field education (AMK studies in telecommunications, electrical or civil engineering) or several years of industry experience.
• Knowledge of telecom operator data networks.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Thoroughness and precision.

• MS Office proficiency.
• Willingness to travel and driving license.
• Good Finnish language skills (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Plan the design and implementation of new and refurbished data networks for customers in a cost-efficient, customer-driven manner.
• Work independently as part of the core network team.
• Coordinate safety, financial, environmental and schedule issues; invoicing of projects.
• Coordinate fault correction if needed.
• Documentation is part of the role.
