Job summary

SEB Life & Pension is seeking an Automation Test Specialist to embed automated testing into the development lifecycle and work closely with developers to ensure quality from the start. You will build, extend, and integrate test frameworks and collaborate across teams to improve test coverage and reliability.

You will join a modern engineering environment focused on automation, performance testing, and sustainable ownership of Lumera-based systems in an internationally oriented team.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in software development using Java, C#, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code with focus on long-term quality.
• Proven experience building or contributing to test infrastructure or CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with modern testing practices (unit, integration, end-to-end, performance).
• Experience designing architecture with testability and quality in mind.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to influence how quality is built in.

Responsibilities

• Developing automated tests: Create and maintain automated tests to validate Lumera's functionality, performance, and integration with other systems.
• Implementing test frameworks: Select and integrate appropriate test frameworks and tools to support efficient automated testing.
• Collaborating across teams: Work closely with other developers and stakeholders to identify testing requirements and ensure sufficient test coverage.
• Analysing test results: Investigate and document test outcomes, identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
• Continuous improvement: Evolve and strengthen our automated testing strategy in line with best practices and modern engineering principles.
