Job summary

SEB is seeking a Solution Developer with Test Automation to build and enhance high-quality IT solutions. You will contribute to development, testing and automation in a collaborative, agile team, while embracing AI ideas and continuous improvement.

The role combines coding, testing and defect analysis with strong communication in English. Working with SEB offers a hybrid model with remote work up to 2 days/week and international opportunities, plus attractive compensation and access to SEB staff

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in C# and T-SQL, with development and test automation.
• Strong understanding of coding standards and software development best practices.
• Curiosity about AI with initial experience and ambition to deepen knowledge.
• Experience in Agile environments (SAFe preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Excellent communication in English.
• Willingness to share knowledge with the team.

Responsibilities

• Implement and improve test automations and perform manual tests where automation is not possible.

About the role:

As a Solution Developer with Test Automation, you will develop and maintain high quality IT solutions (includes e.g., requirements, analysis & design, coding and testing). This role also focusses on implementing and improving our test automations as well as performing manual tests where automation is not possible. You will be part of T-shaped agile team of developers and testers where everyone is contributing to achieving our team goals.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• Proven hands-on experience in C# and T‑SQL, with the ability to contribute to both development, test automation and test activities
• Strong understanding of coding standards and software development best practices.
• A strong curiosity about AI, with initial experience and a clear ambition to continuously explore and deepen your knowledge.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement of test automation, engineering processes, and quality standards
• Ability to debug and analyze issues using logs, configuration files, and code, and to document and track defects in collaboration with other developers and testers
• Experience working in Agile environments (preferably SAFe), actively participating in refinement, estimation, and delivery of features
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• A coaching mindset and are ready to share knowledge with the rest of the team
• Great communication skills and fluency in English
• Experience in finance regulatory reporting is meritorious
