Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking a skilled automation engineer to take ownership of automation software projects from design to commissioning. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop, program, configure HMI/SCADA, and document electrical schematics for industrial applications.

The role involves testing, troubleshooting and occasional international commissioning work, in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Educational background in a relevant engineering field.
• Strong experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal.
• Experience in PLC programming, HMI/SCADA and industrial communication networks.
• Knowledge of EPLAN for electrical and control-system documentation.
• Ability to read, understand and create electrical schematics and control cabinet documentation.
• Experience with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and system integration.
• Knowledge of electrical automation and control systems.
• Working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Developing and programming automation software of industrial process applications.

About the role

In this role, you will take full ownership of an automation software projects from design to commissioning. Working closely with cross-functional designing and project teams, you will be responsible of developing and programming of the automation software, working with configurations and participating of the comissioning.
