Job summary

JTA Connection Oy seeks automation and robotics engineers to work on design, deployment and customer support of automation and robot solutions. Design and testing work occurs in Tampere (or partly remote), with deployments at customer sites. Travel to Finland, Central Europe and North America is expected. English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with automation and robotics design, deployment and support.
• Knowledge of industrial robots and mobile robot solutions is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel internationally for project deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, test and deploy automation and robot solutions.
• Provide customer support and training at sites or remotely as needed.
• Collaborate with customers to optimize material handling and automation workflows.

Job description

We are now seeking automation and robotics engineers for a versatile range of tasks. The role will adapt to your skills, but you will work on design, deployment, and customer support of automation and robot solutions. Design and testing work is done in Tampere (or partly remotely), and deployments take place at customers' sites. It would be great if you have experience with Beckhoff TwinCAT, Siemens TIA Portal, Fanuc, KUKA or ABB industrial robots (plus offline programming environments), MiR or KUKA mobile robots. We are looking for people who are also willing to travel. Business trips may last from a few days to a few weeks, and destinations include Finland, Central Europe and North America. On trips the work is autonomous but support is always available. English suffices, and knowledge of German is a plus.
