In this role you will implement industrial automation systems programming independently or as part of a team, perform commissioning at customers’ facilities, and collaborate with project teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Electrical or automation engineering training (technician, engineer or master) required.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial automation projects.
• Siemens TIA Portal experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Profinet and Profibus.
• Experience with electrical drives (VFDs, servo drives).
• Willingness to travel in South Karelia region.

Job description

An opportunity to help create functional automation solutions for industrial needs. We are looking for an experienced automation designer to join our Imatra-based team and contribute to diverse industrial automation tasks. We are open to candidates at earlier career stages who have strong interest in industrial automation and a desire to grow in the field. In this role you will be part of a knowledgeable design team that combines practical work with strong technical expertise.

You will implement industrial automation systems programming independently or in a team.

Your tasks

• automation system programming
• commissioning at customers’ production facilities
• collaboration with project teams and customers

We expect you to have electrical or automation engineering training (technician, engineer or master’s) and at least 5 years of experience in industrial automation projects, Siemens TIA Portal experience (PLC, HMI), familiarity with common fieldbuses (Profinet, Profibus), experience with electrical drives (VFDs, servo drives), ability to work independently and as part of a team, and readiness for commissioning tasks in the South Karelia region.

We value also

• experience with control systems (Siemens WinCC, AVEVA System Platform Intouch)
• DCS systems (Siemens PCS7, Honeywell)
• other industrial automation software expertise
• willingness to travel

We offer hybrid work arrangement and a salary range of 3503–4400 €/month; final salary depends on skills and experience.
