The International Baccalaureate is seeking Assessment Content Developers to join a team shaping future education. You will create and refine assessments for the DP programme, leveraging technology in assessment and maintaining a strong subject knowledge base.

We value experience in DP teaching, deep knowledge of the subject area, and a commitment to international education with clear English communication skills.

Formación

• Have a degree or equivalent in the subject (or related subject).
• Minimum two years’ experience teaching the subject to 16–18 year olds (DP).
• Detailed up-to-date knowledge of the subject.
• Familiar with good assessment principles and design.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for the use of technology in assessment processes.
• Understand and commit to international education; English communication required.

Assessment content developers are involved in the creation and fine-tuning of assessments to ensure that they are fit for purpose.

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation offering four programmes of international education that develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills needed to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world. We strive to develop students who will build a better world through intercultural understanding and respect.

You must:

• have a degree or equivalent in the subject (or a related subject) for which you are applying,
• have a minimum of two years’ experience teaching the subject (or a related subject) for which they are applying to students of 16 to 18 years of age (DP),
• have a detailed, up-to-date knowledge of the subject for which they are applying,
• be familiar with the principles and challenges of good assessment including the design of assessments,
• demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm for the use of technology in assessment processes, including the use of eMarking tools and on-screen assessment,
• demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to international education,
• have the ability to communicate, read documents and write reports in English.
