Job summary

ICEYE seeks a Satellite Operations Specialist to monitor and control the satellite constellation from Finland on an office-based contract. You will work in shifts with a focus on early anomaly detection, procedure development, and fleet support for launches and in-orbit testing.

You will collaborate with engineers and operators to ensure mission readiness, refine workflows, and document incidents and handovers while contributing to ICEYE’s space-based ISR capabilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree in a space/aerospace field or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quick problem-solving abilities.
• Good command of English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous monitoring and control of the satellite constellation across shifts.
• Detect anomalies early and ensure proper escalation/resolution.
• Develop procedures, tools and workflows to improve operations.
• Support fleet maintenance and in-orbit testing.
• Contribute to mission readiness through simulations and early orbit work.
• Deliver clear handovers, incident reports, and documentation.
• Help sustain 24/7 operations with strong team situational awareness.
