Job summary

Lapland Staff is seeking Safari Guides for the winter season across Luosto, Levi, Saariselkä, Ylläs and Olos in Lapland. You will introduce international guests to Finnish Lapland and lead them on snowshoe safaris, visits to reindeer farms and husky kennels, and snowmobile trips to see the Northern Lights.

Your day includes preparing programs, outfitting guests, and maintaining equipment, with duties that may include indoor clothing maintenance and occasional evening work.

Qualifications

• Class B driver’s license is essential.
• BE license and experience driving a 9-seater vehicle in snow is advantageous.
• EU citizenship or valid Finnish work permit required.
• French language knowledge is an advantage in certain destinations.
• Fluent English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare safari programs and meet guests before safaris.
• Dress guests in winter clothing and manage equipment.
• Maintain and clean equipment after safaris.
• Support equipment team across destinations.
