Job summary

Finnair is seeking an Analytics Engineer for Technical Operations to bridge data and operations. You will build AMOS and Power BI reports, dashboards and automations, improving data quality and consistency across Tech OPS.

In a business-side role, you will partner with IT and stakeholders, own data workflows, ensure GDPR compliance, and contribute to AI-enabled analytics while developing documentation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a data-related field.
• Proven experience working with data.
• Strong SQL skills and Power BI report-building.
• Understanding data flows between data sources.
• Experience with AI tools (Claude preferred).
• Ability to coordinate in a matrix organization with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Nice to have aviation ERP experience and ERP/data integration know-how.
• Knowledge of Python and GDPR/data governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop data usage across Finnair Technical Operations.
• Build AMOS and Power BI reports, dashboards and automations.
• Lead AMOS development, upgrades and related data projects.
• Develop data analysis methods with Tech OPS and IT.
• Improve AMOS data quality and consistency.
• Coach and support other Tech OPS analysts.
• Act as AMOS Super User coordinating with the AMOS Main User.
• Explore AI-enabled analytics and maintain documentation.
• Ensure data handling complies with GDPR and governance policies.
