Job summary

TechShack in Helsinki seeks an experienced AI Infrastructure Site Manager to own GPU infrastructure operations at a regional data centre. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage NVIDIA GPU clusters and oversee procurement, deployment, maintenance and incident response.

The role requires strong leadership of engineering teams and hands-on governance of GPU deployments, capacity planning and security. Hybrid on-site work with relocation support for international candidates is offered.

AI Infrastructure Site Manager

Finland | On-Site / Hybrid

An ambitious, well-capitalised technology organisation is looking to appoint an experienced AI Infrastructure leader to take full ownership of GPU infrastructure operations at a regional data centre location in Finland.

Acting as the single accountable leader for end-to-end GPU infrastructure operations, this individual will oversee the complete infrastructure lifecycle, from procurement and architecture through to deployment, operations, maintenance, change management, compliance and customer management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams across AI Systems, Networking, Security, Platform Engineering and Site Operations.
• Own the 24/5 operational health, availability and performance of production NVIDIA GPU clusters.
• Oversee GPU infrastructure deployments, maintenance, incident management and operational reliability.
• Manage infrastructure capacity planning, change management, compliance and governance.
• Lead relationships with hyperscale and enterprise customers, infrastructure vendors and suppliers.

Ideal Background

• Experience managing GPU cloud, neocloud, HPC/supercomputing or hyperscale data centre infrastructure.
• Strong technical understanding of NVIDIA GPU clusters, high-performance networking, storage and AI infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and overseeing end-to-end infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on experience overseeing GPU infrastructure deployments, commissioning, production operations and incident management.
• Experience managing infrastructure procurement, vendors, capacity planning and relationships with hyperscale or enterprise customers.

Location: Helsinki Metropolitan Area, Finland (On-Site / Hybrid).
