Job summary

Wolt is hiring a Fullstack Engineer to contribute across merchant experiences in Europe, working with backend Go/Kotlin and frontend TypeScript/React. The role is based in a hybrid setup in Helsinki or Berlin, collaborating with product, design, data, and operations to turn business needs into practical software solutions.

You’ll build APIs and user-facing features, own features end-to-end, and leverage AI-assisted development tools while ensuring scalability, observability, and maintainability

Qualifications

• Proven production software experience across backend, frontend, or fullstack.
• Experience with API design and scalable services.
• Strong fundamentals in software design and testing.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain production software across backend and user-facing apps.
• Develop APIs, data models, services, and UI features.
• Collaborate with product, design, data, and operations to turn business needs into technical solutions.
• Own features from implementation to production and maintenance.
• Contribute to design discussions, improve scalability and observability.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and validate outcomes.
• Be ready to tackle problems outside your core area end-to-end.
