Job summary

Stora Enso Group in Helsinki seeks a Digital Mill Operations Lead to shape and deliver the Future Digital Mill strategy. You will drive AI-enabled production, data foundations, and cross-functional collaboration with mill leadership, IT/OT, and partners.

Lead a digital team, manage a portfolio of AI initiatives, and champion new ways of working to improve safety, efficiency, quality and energy use across mills.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer or data science, engineering or similar.
• Proven experience leading digitalisation programs in manufacturing with measurable value.
• Strong knowledge of AI, ML, analytics and industrial data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the digital mill vision and multi-year roadmap for AI, analytics, automation and digitisation.
• Lead and scale AI use cases like predictive maintenance and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with IT, OT and automation to build a secure data foundation.
• Embed digital solutions into daily operations with mill management and teams.
• Develop business cases, manage budget and track value against KPIs.
