The successful candidate will coordinate engineering, construction, commissioning and facilities teams, establishing operational processes, governance and readiness for safe, efficient live operations.

Responsabilités

• Lead site-level coordination and operational management, ensuring activities align with project objectives, requirements and business priorities.
• Coordinate the transition from construction and commissioning into live operations, including handover, documentation, testing and operational acceptance.
• Oversee operational readiness and performance across electrical, mechanical, cooling, utilities and building infrastructure.
• Coordinate infrastructure capacity, power availability, cooling requirements and future expansion considerations.
• Act as a central point of contact for engineering, construction, commissioning, facilities management, utilities and external service providers.
• Develop and implement site operating procedures, maintenance strategies, emergency response plans and operational governance processes.
• Coordinate third-party contractors and service partners, monitoring performance, safety standards and delivery against requirements.
• Maintain oversight of operational risks, health and safety, regulatory compliance, incident management and business continuity.
• Monitor site performance, infrastructure availability, maintenance activities, energy efficiency and operational expenditure.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, resilience and long-term campus performance.
• Establish clear operational responsibilities and collaborate with technical teams to build a high-performing site operation.

We are working on a confidential search for an experienced infrastructure leader to oversee the operational development and performance of a large-scale, mission-critical campus in Finland.

This is a senior leadership opportunity within a technically complex environment, requiring responsibility for coordinating infrastructure, facilities, site operations and external service providers across a substantial multi-disciplinary operation.

The successful candidate will play a central role in establishing operational processes, coordinating technical stakeholders and ensuring the campus is prepared to operate safely, reliably and efficiently. The position will involve close collaboration with engineering, construction, commissioning and facilities teams, with a focus on long-term operational performance, infrastructure resilience and future capacity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead site-level coordination and operational management, ensuring activities are aligned with project objectives, operational requirements and business priorities.
• Coordinate the transition from construction and commissioning into live operations, including handover, documentation, testing and operational acceptance.
• Oversee operational readiness and performance across essential electrical, mechanical, cooling, utilities and building infrastructure.
• Coordinate infrastructure capacity, power availability, cooling requirements and future expansion considerations.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in a senior site leadership, campus operations, facilities management or critical infrastructure role.
• Background in data centres, mission-critical facilities, large-scale industrial infrastructure or similarly complex technical environments.
• Strong understanding of critical electrical and mechanical systems, including power distribution, backup generation, UPS systems, cooling and utilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple technical disciplines, contractors and service providers across a large site or complex project.
• Exposure to commissioning, operational readiness, handover or mobilisation of new facilities.
• Understanding of capacity planning, infrastructure resilience, operational risk and performance management.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities, with the ability to coordinate teams across construction, engineering and operations.
• Commercial awareness covering operational expenditure, contractor performance and infrastructure lifecycle considerations.
• Knowledge of relevant Finnish regulations and European technical standards would be advantageous.
• Fluency in English is essential; Finnish language skills would be beneficial.
