King's College School Murcia, part of Inspired Education Group, is seeking a Year 5 Teacher for maternity cover in Murcia. You will plan engaging lessons, foster an inclusive classroom, monitor progress and support pupils’ academic and personal development in a dynamic international setting.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has Primary school experience including Year 5, and demonstrates excellent communication, collaboration and safeguarding commitment within a vibrant educational community.

ROLE SUMMARY:

King's College School Murcia is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and inspiring Year 5 Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover basis from early 2026.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing an engaging, challenging and supportive learning environment for pupils in Year 5. You will inspire curiosity, encourage independence and help every child to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver engaging, purposeful and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Experience teaching in a Primary school, ideally with experience of Year 5 or a similar age group.

A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to providing an outstanding learning experience for every child.

Strong knowledge of effective primary teaching and learning strategies.

Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
