Formación

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as an ABAP developer or similar.
• 5+ years’ experience in SAP Fiori and/or SAPUI5 design/development.
• Experience in logistics or chemical industry is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-End responsibility for building a product balancing standardization and customization.
• Implement new SAP/UI5 applications leveraging Fiori methodology.
• Collaborate on global yard logistics template design.

RESPONSIBILITIES

End-to-End responsibility and accountability on building up a product that balances a good level of standardization and scalability with a reasonable level of customization.

• Consultancy

  Translates functional requirements into technical specifications

  Leverage the business / process knowledge in the teams and define the best technical design of new functionalities

  Drive for sustainable solutions

  Leverages the use of standard functionalities to reduce non-standard development

• Development

  Customize a third-party ABAP–based solution

  Develop new functionalities as add-ons for the Yard Management Standard Solution

  Handle the interfaces with central systems like SAP ERP, TM or EWM.

  Customization of SAP ERP, TM, eWM, etc.

  Handle global as well as site specific releases according to pre-defined release management processes (SOLMAN)

  Implement new SAP / UI5 applications leveraging Fiori methodology and guidelines

  Implement the backend integrations with the Yard Management ABAP product foundation.

• Quality assurance

  Perform Unit testing to ensure a high quality of the code delivered

  Support PO’s with the functional testing and the UAT

  Automate regression tests

• Collaboration

  Leverage multicultural and geographically distributed team to build up the best solution

  Collaborate in a global team of technical and functional experts.

  Drive innovation on how to keep enhancing the product

  Active participation in designing a global yard logistics template for BASF

  Play key role as technical expert in yard management and Subject Matter Expert for SAP Cloud and Gateway Applications

QUALIFICATIONS

• SAP

  o Minimum 5+ years’ experience in working as ABAP developer or similar role.

  o 5+ years’ experience in SAP Fiori and / or SAPUI5 design / development

  o 3+ years’ experience in working as SAP technical consultant or similar role

  o 3+ years’ experience in SAP Cloud technology

  o 1+ years’ experience in SAP BTP development

  o Knowledge of the SAP Fiori user experiences (UX) concept as well as SAP Fiori Client and Launchpad.

  o Excellent judgement. Able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid, logical decisions in a fast-moving company.

• Learning

  o Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, physics or related, from an accredited college or university

• Soft skills

  o A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve.

  o Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal skills.

  o Advanced English skills

• NICE TO HAVE
• SAP

  o Experience in SAP Cloud technology

  o Knowledge of Fiori Client and Launchpad

  o Experience in TM and / or WM modules is a plus.

• Other technical skills

  o Experience with test automation

  o Experience with Git versioning model

  o Knowledge of application lifecycle, change / release management process

• Industry experience

  o Experience in logistics or chemical industry is a plus.

• Other skills

  o Experience in running IT solutions as products

  o Experience working in Agile environments within frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or extreme programming.

  o Knowledge of core lean practices : Kaizen, 5 Why’s, Value Stream mapping.

  o Knowledge of Jira / MS Azure is a plus

  o Ability to work efficiently under pressure on non-routine and highly complex tasks.

  o Experience in working in global / virtual teams / projects

  o Ability to work in a multicultural team spread across the globe.
