Intellectsoft in ES is seeking a WordPress Developer (IR-550) to join our on-site team. You will design and implement modular WordPress solutions, build custom Gutenberg blocks with React.js, and connect headless Shopify with editorial content.

You will work with REST/GraphQL APIs, CRM integrations, performance improvements, and security practices while collaborating with engineers, designers, and marketing. English proficiency is required.

• 3+ years of experience with custom WP development (PHP 8.x), custom post types, custom taxonomies, and structured publishing workflows.

• Develop and maintain a modular design system and custom Gutenberg component library.
• Build landing page builders and editorial templates (Travel, Events, Experiences).
• Implement a headless Shopify experience with content tagging in articles.
• Integrate front-end forms with CRM lead routing and email workflows (Attio / Klaviyo).
• Ensure responsiveness, proper Schema.org markup, and performance/analytics optimization.

We are building a premium luxury content and commerce platform designed around modularity, speed, and clean code. The platform features an editorial CMS workflow built in WordPress, paired with a custom component library, custom Gutenberg block builders, and a headless Shopify integration for seamless product tagging within editorial content. Additionally, the architecture connects directly with marketing, analytics, and CRM tooling (Attio, Klaviyo, GA4) to deliver personalized user experiences.

Requirements

• Basic: WordPress Core & CMS: 3+ years of experience with custom WP development (PHP 8.x), custom post types, custom taxonomies, and creating structured publishing workflows for editors.


• Gutenberg & Component Library: Deep expertise in developing modular custom Gutenberg blocks using React.js and modern JS (ES6+) to power a scalable design system/component library (typography, cards, containers, modular page builders).


• Headless Commerce: Hands-on experience with Shopify integrations, specifically headless Shopify catalog/cart implementations, shoppable product tagging within articles, and routing Shopify checkout back through the WP front-end.


• APIs & CRM Integrations: Practical experience working with REST APIs/GraphQL and handling data flows between web forms, CRMs (e.g., Attio), and email platforms (e.g., Klaviyo).


• Performance, SEO & Security: Strong understanding of Schema.org structured data, dynamic SEO tags, Core Web Vitals optimization, and GDPR/Cookie compliance implementations.


• Modern Workflows: Proficiency with Git, Composer, npm/webpack, CI/CD, and local dev environments (Docker/DDEV/LocalWP).


• Language: Upper-Intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a flexible, modular design system and custom Gutenberg component library based on design specs.


• Build custom landing page builders, modular homepage capabilities, and structured editorial category templates (e.g., Travel, Events, Experiences).


• Implement a \"Shop the Story\" headless Shopify experience, allowing content editors to seamlessly tag product catalogs inside editorial articles.


• Integrate front-end membership application and contact forms with automated CRM lead routing and email marketing workflows (Attio / Klaviyo).


• Ensure full responsiveness, implement proper Schema.org markup, and optimize the site for web performance and analytics tracking.
