Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a System Engineer – Windows to own the enterprise Windows infrastructure within Digital Technology – Service Quality. You will deploy infrastructure as code, manage AD and hybrid identity, and drive patch and vulnerability remediation across on-prem, Azure, and AWS.

This hybrid role sits in Barcelona, supporting global applications and life‑saving systems. The ideal candidate has hands-on Windows Server experience, IaC tooling, and a security‑first mindset.

Qualifications

• Substantial hands-on experience with enterprise Windows Server in large-scale environments.
• Experience in regulated pharma/life sciences is a plus.
• Azure/AWS cloud IaaS experience and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deploy infrastructure as code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Automate post-provisioning configuration with PowerShell DSC, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Own the full server lifecycle across on-prem, Azure, and AWS.
• Manage Active Directory and hybrid identity.
• Drive patch compliance and vulnerability remediation across Windows estate.
• Provide L2/L3 support and lead incident recovery.
• Build observability and AIOps with Datadog and Splunk.
• Represent Windows changes at CAB with traceability and low risk.
