GE Vernova’s ROC Technical Lead – Wind Remote Operations Center seeks an experienced engineer to monitor turbine performance, diagnose alarms, and guide remote service actions from Barcelona. You will analyse data, support field teams, and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues while maintaining safety and reliability.

The role requires a degree in engineering, hands-on wind turbine experience, reading schematics, and proficiency with SCADA.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent Wind Energy experience.
• Hands-on wind turbine experience in operational environments.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot on-site.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and relocate to Barcelona.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving technical issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear, structured information.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyse operational data to identify faults, trends and improvements.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and optimization.
• Support grid outages when required with safety and compliance.
• Work on rotating weekday shifts with on-call weekends/holidays.
