Job summary

SAMY Iberia is seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer to produce high-quality, social-first video content for major beauty brands, including L’Oréal. The role focuses on editing pre-recorded footage, creating motion graphics, and adapting assets for various social formats.

The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver multiple videos per day while maintaining brand identity. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in video editing and/or motion graphics, preferably in high‑volume production.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience editing social‑first video content for TikTok/Instagram.
• Basic knowledge of colour correction, camera equipment and studio lighting.
• Portfolio showcasing video editing and motion graphics work is essential.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble pre-recorded footage into engaging, polished video content for social media campaigns (TikTok, Instagram, and others).
• Create motion graphics, animations, transitions and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
• Apply colour correction to ensure a professional finish across all assets.
• Occasionally record social media content using basic camera equipment and lighting setups.
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign requirements.
• Manage a high volume of deliverables, typically around three videos per day.
• Collaborate with social media teams, designers and other creatives to translate concepts into video content.

Role Mission

We are looking for a Video Editor & Motion Designer to produce high-quality, social-first video content for major beauty and consumer brands, including L’Oréal. The role will focus primarily on editing pre-recorded footage, creating motion graphics and animations, and adapting video assets for different social media formats. This is a high-volume, hands‑on position requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to deliver several videos per day while maintaining consistent quality and brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit and assemble pre-recorded footage into engaging, polished video content for social media campaigns, primarily for TikTok, Instagram and other digital platforms.
• Motion Graphics & Animation: Create motion graphics, animations, transitions and visual effects to enhance storytelling and bring social‑first content to life.
• Colour Correction & Visual Quality: Apply colour correction and other post‑production techniques to ensure a consistent, professional finish across all video assets.
• Video Recording & Studio Support: Occasionally record social media content, including product videos and simple studio productions, using basic camera equipment and lighting setups.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines, visual identity and campaign requirements.
• High‑Volume Content Production: Manage a high volume of deliverables, typically around three videos per day, balancing speed, efficiency and attention to detail.
• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with social media teams, designers and other creative stakeholders to transform existing footage and creative concepts into effective video content.

Skills & Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in video editing and/or motion graphics, preferably in an agency or high‑volume production environment.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Experience editing social‑first video content for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
• Basic knowledge of colour correction, camera equipment and studio lighting.
• Portfolio showcasing video editing and motion graphics work is essential.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and English.

Nice To Have

• Experience working with beauty, skincare or other consumer brands.
• Familiarity with AI tools for video editing and content creation.
